Baldwin Couple Celebrate Their 63rd AnniversaryBALDWIN, Jan. 18—Mr. and Mrs.Orville Current will observe their sixty-third wedding anniversary Sunday with a family dinner.Mr. and Mrs. Current were married at Smithtown, la., Jan. 17, 1869. by the Rev. Jacob Burwell, pastor of the Methodist church. . v-iAs Nancy McAnich, Mrs. Current was bom March 16. 1849, at South Grove, Jackson county. She has one living sister, Susie Lists of Iron Hills. la. Mr. Current, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Current, was bom Feb. 22, 1849, near Maquokpta.Soon after their marriage they purchased a farm in Clinton county, living there flfty-one years. Twelve years ago they retired and moved to Baldwin. ^ wMr. and Mrs. Current both enjoy fairly good health. For a pastime Mr. Current makes ax and hammer handles and neckyokes. He also drives his car. They have a family of twelve children, six boys and six girls, nine of whom are living: Jennie Fields, Ira Current, Orphens Current, Thomas Current and Freeman Current, Mrs. Earl Carey, Mrs. Mary Francks of Baldwin, Etta Hills of Iowa City and Eugene Current of Maquoketa. There are thirty-four grandchildren, forty-four greatgrandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.
