John- O. Kiser, locu! contractor, waa awarded the contract yesterday.The basement under the building will be 50 feet wide by 90 feet long. The store building will be wo stories high, 75 feet wide and 140 feet long. The J. C. Penney company has taken a lease on the corner store building. The second floor will be for offices, Mr, Rose announces.When completed the Rose building, being erected by Bonnie and Tom W. Rose, will cost approximately $75,000.
