. . . Without a big man in the Maryland Eastern Shore attack, the Hawks have fallen upon hard times, winning but twice in 13 games before last night. That big man, 6-10li center Joe Pace, left the Princess Anne campus to follow John Bates lo Coppin State. Pace, ineligible the first semester because of the transfer, led Coppin to three wins last week by scoring 59 points, grabbing 56 rebounds, and blocking 35 shots The UMES big man this season is Cedric Roane at 6-5.
