Graveses mark their 50th dateSaturday, Jan. 21, is the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Graves, 2024 Lynwood, Salina.Mrs. Graves is the former Lou-vae Agin.No formal celebration is planned at this time.The couple have two children, Gerald of Wilmington, Del., and Sharlene Erler of Dallas.There are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Their marriage was solemnized Jan. 21, 1945, in Salina where the Graveses since have lived.After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he worked as a specification writer for 25 years for Wilson and Co. Engineers, then for the Shaver Partnership and the former Jarvis Construction. Graves is now retired. His wife is a retired bookkeeper and saleswoman.
