Mr. and Mrs. A. Doig Benedict observed their 58th wedding anniversary last Thursday at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Benedict were married Jan. 8, 1884, at iSt. Stephen’s church in Croghan by the Rev. Father Gregory. Josephine Parquet Benedict was born in Croghan Aug. 2, 1864, daughter of Christopher and Margaret Parquet. Mr. Benedict was born Oct. 10, 185S, the son of James and Jeanette Doig Benedict on the same farm on which he now lives and has always made his home. They have four children, James Benedict of South Woodstock, Vt., Karl .D. Benedict, Turin, ClintonBenedict, Greig, and Mrs. !Leo Salmons, Glenfield; 14.grandchildren and fivegreat- grandchildren
