The only special observance of the day will be a family dinner at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. .E. L. Kindig. 510 Aavenue northwest, with whom theylive.Others attending the dinner will be Miss Theresa Bormann. who lives with her parents, and Mr. andMrs. J. H. Bormann and their children, Hildegarde. John Francis, Mary Catherine, and Mary Jane.It was a very different Jan. 13 in 1869, the day of their marriage. Bitter cold weather prevailed andthey went t hrough deep snow to reach Lyons, where the ceremony took place, i , *Mr, and Mrs. Bormann have made their home in Cedar Rapids for the last two years, coming here from Preston, where they had lived for thirty-six years. Mr. Bormann is 83 and Mrs. Bormann is 81.Besides those who will be present for the anniversary dinner this evening their children are Mrs. W. J. Schwirtz of Preston, A, V. Bormann of Graettinger, J. A. Borman of Milton Junction. Wis., Mrs. Theodore Muhl of Vinton, and B. H Bormann of Madison. Wis., and they also have twenty-two grand-cfaiMrwi. l
