CHARTER ORDINANCECharter Ordinance No. 93A Charter Ordinance to reorganise the government of the City of Madison. Wisconsin under. Chapter 62 and Section 64.14 of the Wisconsin Statutes of 1947 and nets amendatory thereof, providing for the return to the City Mayor anci Alciermanic planThe City Council or the City of Madison do ordain as follows*1. That the government of the City of Madison be and hereby is reorganised muler Chapter 62 and Sections 64.14, 66.(n and 10.43 of the Wisconsin Statutes of 1017 and acts amendatory thereof, providing for the- City Mayoranci Alciermanic plan, with a common council composed of twenty Aldermen, one from each ward, said Mayor and Aldermen to be elected for the term of two years.2. The election of officers under the form of government so .adopted shall be held as provided by law upon the first Tuesday In April next succeeding the adoption of this Charter Ordinance.3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force as prescribed by law.This. Is to certify that the foregoingCharter Ordinance was adopted by the electors of the City of Madison at a referendum election held on the 7th day of November. 1950. pursuant to the provisions of section 64.14, 66.01, 10.43 and Chapter 62 of the Wisconsin Statutes.A.
