Wisconsin under* Chapter 62 and Section 64.14 of the Wisconsin Statutes of 1947 and nets amendatory thereof, providing for the return to the City Mayor ancl Alciermanic planThe City Council ot the City of Madison do ordain as follows*1. That the government of the City of Madison be and hereby Is reorganised muter Chapter 62 and Sections 64.14, 66.(n and 10A?* of the Wisconsin Statutes of 1D17 and acts amendatory thereof, providing for the- City Mayorand Alciermanic plan, with a common council composed of twenty Aldermen, [one from each ward, said Mayor and Aldermen to be elected for the term of two -years.2. The election of officers under the form of government so .adopted shall be held as provided by law upon the first; Tuesday In April next succeeding the: adoption of this Charter Ordinance. j3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force as prescribed by law.” iThis.
