(Carolyn) Perkins, Brown-wood.Guests will be served a tiered wedding cake and coffee or punch from a table laid with an ivory lace cloth over gold, accented by candles and floral arrangements.The couple was married on a Sunday afternoon, lan. 14, 1923, at First Baptist Church in Zephyr by Rev.’ Joe Fresell. After their marriage they farmed inCo-rnanche County before mov-HKlil’ FROM SKABROOKing to Brownwood in 1934.Mr. Gore drove buses for the Brownwood schools during the Camp Bowie flays and for the City of Brownwood. He and Mrs. Gore operated a laundry for 2f. years before retiring in 1964. They have been members of the Belle Plain Baptist Church for 39 years.Mr. Gore was born June, 1899, the third child of the late John W. and Dorcus Gore. He was one of nine children raised on a farm near Comanche.Mrs. Gore is the former Carrie CatherineTurner and was born Nov. 11, 1901 to the late W. J. and Liza Turner. She is one of eight children and was reared on a farm near Blanket.The reception is open to all their friends and relatives. The couple request no gifts.hhjp from HOUSTON
