Martin has returned from a three- | week visit with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Martin and family at Springfield, O.Mr. and Mrs. Charles Langfritz went to Fort Dodge Friday afternoon and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Luebke until Sunday evening. Both couples and Virgil Vogel of Clare were Sunday dinner and supper guests in the Henry Merls home in Fort Dodge. Additional supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. William Freese and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoefing of Man-son.Mr. and Mrs. David Honeck of Boone were Sunday guests in the Herman Pagel home.Carol Mac key has returned to Des Moines and Jane Mackey to Iowa City after spending the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Mackey.Mrs. Cliff Hoft and Mrs. Raymond Raine were hostesses to the Mission Study Circle at the former's home Thursday ^afternoon. Mrs. Otto Norn sen had charge of devotions and Mrs. Charles Langfritz, the lesson. The hostesses served lunch at the close.The Garden Club held a regular meeting at the community building Friday afternoon. Roll call was “My Plant Secret.’1 Following the business meeting, articles pertaining to house plants were presented by Mrs, Charles Langfritz. Refreshments were served by Mrs, L. G. Ballard, Mrs. John Aschinger, Mrs, Frank Beck and Mrs. Charles Button.Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Brother ton and family of Whlttemore, Mr. and Mi's. Jake Tjaden of Breda and Mr. and Mrs, John Kaiser spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Anna Tjaden.Mr. and Mrs. Max Squires and family of Spencer spent Sunday in the Frank Beck home.Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bielema spent Sunday afternoon in the Calvin Frank home at Carnarvon. They went especially to see the baby who is ill.Hans Christiansen was taken by ambulance to the LoHng Hospital at Sac City Saturday morning.Mr, and Mrs. Carl Erne, Mrs. Ida Crowe and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Crowe and children were Sunday guests in the Lyle Crowe home at Sac City. The occasion was Mrs. Erne’s birthday.Dr. and Mrs. Harold Kestel and son, Rodney, of Storm Lake were Sunday guests in the Anton Bede! home. Their daughter, Gwqnette, who had been here since Wednesday, returned home with them,Flemish in the northern provinces and French in the southern provinces are the two official languages of JBelgium,
