Library GroupTo Hold MeetThe Friends of the Pass Christian Library will hold its first general membership meeting on Monday at 8 p.m. at the Pass Christian City Hall.The future public library of Pass Christian is in planning stages and is to be constructed in the near future.The Friends of the Library is a non-profit, auxiliary organization being formed to assist in preliminary planning, ^ to collect books, and to help equip the library. Upon completion and staffing, of thelibrary, this group plans to offer volunteer help and various services such as displays and programs in the library.The organizational meeting also will feature a report on the progress of the proposed library by Tom Bourdin, chairman of the Library Commission for Pass Christian. The sketches of the new building will be displayed, and John Mykoiky, architect, will explain them.All interested persons are urged to attend this first meeting and to give their support to your library.
