»Yours for truth and progress, j •J.. A i ztfjLxm1. jJ0byhateircitstbWFor the Herald of Progress.F The Tricks of Colchester.r . Flushing, L. I., Dec. 28, 1862.Mr. A. J. Davis, Dear Sir: In your 14'.»tli number I noticed a statement by Dr. J. H.I Robinson, of Worcester, in regard to “ the impositions of Mr. Colchester.”I can assure you that his statements are ot-true. I always scrutinize all points when I whave a sitting with a medium. I did so with fj Mr. Colchester, although a lady had recommended him to me most highly. I noticedduring the sitting what I deemed deceptions, and subjecting them to further scrutiny, became positively satisfied they were frauds. He has all the appearance of a tricky person and being positive on my part that such was his character, I have since shunned him. I feel that he and some other deceivers are a disgrace to Spiritualism. The lady who so warmly recommended him to me has told me that she has since been convinced of his duplicity and chicanery. We want no such black sheep in our camp.Yours fraternally, Wm. R. Pkixcf..inItaipitsb-x-ott !egccaislsiieaeainKncfoerbesi.1 .
