SYLVESTER PERKINSCAMDEN —Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Perkins of rte. 2, Camden will observe their fiftiethwedding anniversary Sunday,Feb. 15, at an open house at the ' 4-H building at the fairgrounds in Hillsdale, from 2 to 5 p.m. The event is being hosted by lt;their children and grandchildren. ] Sylvester Perkins and Mary Robison were married in Hillsdale Feb. 17, 1920. They have lived in their present home for 39 years.They are the parents of three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Thelma)McLain of Michigan Center, Mrs. ]Doyle (Wilma) Phegley of Hills- lt;dale and Mrs. Vernon (Cheryl)Jones Jr. of Osseo. They have .13 grandchildren and 12 great- jgrandchildren. (Mr. Perkins is a veteran ofWorld War L He has been a jfarmer most of his life, and wasalso employed at the HillsdaleTool and Manufacturing Companyfor 19 years.Both Mr. and Mrs. Perkinshave been active in church work,and are members of El BethelTabernacle in Hillsdale. Mrs.Perkins served there as pianistfor several years.
