Tin* group sang “Faith of Our Fathers.” Mrs. Moberg read Psalm 37:1-11, stressing the word, “patience,” and read a poem, “A Prayer for the New Yea r. ’ ’New officers of the cricle are Mrs. White, Mrs. Ralph Tallmon, vice-chairman; Mrs. Wayne W. Miller, secretary; and Mrs. Ivan Reish, treasurer. Mrs. Robert Tackett, Mrs. Frank Johnson, Mrs. Don Whittlesey and Mrs. CarlThompson were appointed to makeup the newr calendars for the year. Mrs. Reish and Mrs. Moberg will serve as the telephone committee. Mrs. Moberg will be in charge of White Cross work.Mrs. Harold Franklin read several letters from missionaries.Esther circle will be in charge of refreshments for the general meeting Jan. 31, with Mrs. Tallmon as chairman.Prayers for the sick and shut-ins and prayer requests were offered by Mrs. Ernest Bartle and Mrs. Mertle Tilman.Mrs. Moberg served refreshments, assisted by Mrs. Clarence Henry, Mrs. Rolland Hunt returned thanks. The serving table was covered with a lovely linen cloth, a wedding gift received by Mr. and Mrs. Priest 50 years ago. The centerpiece was a cake which was served from the crystal cake stand used at the wedding in 1908. Mrs. Richard Jennings presided at the guest book. Sharon Priest and Shirley Merritt I were in charge of the gifts. Mrs. % Loretta Hunemuller poured the a coffee, and Ellen Eighme, the -1 punch.
