Shank, this city, celebrated their forty - fifth wedding anniversary on Sun* day December 27, at a reception in the Clear Spring Fire Hall.The Shanks were married December 24, 1919, in the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren by the Rev, G, L Rider, D.D.Mrs. Shank is the former Meta Hull, daughter of lale Lawrence and Susan (Trumpower*! Hull. Mr. Shank is the son of the lale Isaac and Bessie (Roney) Shank.They have lived a!1 their liven in the Clear Spring-Big Spring area.Dine and white streamers, white wedding bells and arrangements of white pompons, greens and red poinsettias created a festive setting for the reception.The serving table was centered with a three - tiered cake decorated with a silver •MS1 and set in a garland of pine and hemlock. The table also held silver wedding bells centered with blue, while and silver flowers, and arrangements of white pompons and candles.Mrs, Leroy F.
