Pete MayfieldOf Sulphur, OklaWed 65 Yeairit!I(A former Montague county couple who were married in this county celebrated their sixtv-fifth wed ding anniversary December 22 at the home of a granddaughter in Sulphur, Okla. Several Noconansattended the observance.They are Mr. ar.ri Mrs. P,_'t' Mayfield, who are now living with ’ . their granddaughter, Mrs. Roy Me CaOey and her husband.Known in Sulphur as ‘ Uncle Pete and Aunt Mary,” the Mav-fields had three children, but all are deceased. They have one other grandchild. L. W. Price of Lov-ington. N. M.Mr. Mayfield is now 88 and hiswife is 81 and is currently confined to bed. During the observance, a dinner was served to their guests. It included a wedding cake with a Christmas arrangement in |candy. It was cut and served at ; \Mrs. Mayfield’s bedside.Those attending from here wereMr. and Mrs. W. T. Cribbs. Mr. and Mrs. D. W.
