200 Attend R«eption for tf* Everetf Knop, on 25th AnntverMry Dec. 28at iib tuiMr. and Mrs. Everett Knop observed their 25th anniversary on Dec. 25, with open house at St. Johns Lutheran Church northeast of Malvern, Some 200 people called during: the afternoon.The other members of the wed-; ding party cf 20 years ago, who 1 were present Sunday, were Mrs. John Kline, bridesmaid; Alfred j Knop, best man and Mrs. Orlo j Jones, flower glri. Mrs. Joe Daw-son, who sang the wedding song, *was unable to be there.Mrs. Louis Knop decorated tho tables carrying out the wedding colors of red and white combined with the Christmas theme. The serving table was covered with a white lace cloth with a centerpiece of red carnations in a silver bowl. Little Christmas Angels held the silver and white candles on either side of the centerpiece.The guest tables had center-Burlington Agents Met Here Tues.Six C. B Q. .station agents of this vicinity attended a freightpieces of white net Christmas trees edged with silver and hung with tiny Christmas ornaments. On each side of these were whlta and silver candles. The gift table had a silver dollar tree as a centerpiece.The receptionists were Walter and Louis Knop. Alfred Knop, Mrs. Louis Knop and Edwin Leu acted as hosts and hostesses for the afternoon. Mrs. Walter Knop And Eunice had charge of the guest book and Mrs. Lester Knop and Mrs. Glen Knop took caro of the gifts. The ladles who poured were Mrs. John Kline, Mrs. Orlo Jones. Mrs. Duane Rhode*. Mrs. Max Boyd, Mrs. Howard Green and Miss Eunice Knop.Movies were taken by Howard Green, slides by Donald Knop, tape recording by Loulh Knop during the afternoon. Orlo Jones, August Pontow, and Duano Rhodes helped park cars and the •St. John's Ladies Aid served tho refresh m*nt*.Kathleen and Lester Knop sang several vocal numbers accompanied by Nancy Knop. Phyllis Leu and Nancy Knop also played pi-ano selection*.
