Tip for the dayAuditions for “The Phantom Tollbooth,‘ are scheduled Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium atMaple Crest SchoolA Curtain Call production, the play requires 20 actors whose ages range from 10years to adult.The combined cast plays such diverse roles as The Clock, The Spelling Bee, TheDodecahedron, and The Princesses Rhyme and Reason.Adapted by Susan Nancus and Norton Juster from Juater's children's story, “The Phantom Tollbooth” takes one on a journey to the Land ofWisdom, Dictionoplis, Digitopolis, and the Land of Ignorance.Cuttings from the play may be obtained from librarians at most junior and senior high schools and from Kokomo-Howard County Public Library.Judith K Whuriey will be the director for the production to be given March 30, 31 and April l at the Kokomo High School downtown auditorium.Curtain Call is the children’s wing of the Kokomo Civic Theater.Ail persons interested in auditioning are invited.
