Golden anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Frank TruschkaMr and Mrs Frank Truschka of Blue Island were honored at a party in their home on Saturday, December 4th on the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. About 100 relatives and friends were present for this happy eventThe Truschka’s who live on Market street in the familyhome, were married, at home, on December 4, 1926 by the late Father Gross of St. Benedict church. They celebrated their silver anniversary at home also.They are the parents of eight children, Thomas, Edward, Donald and Frank, Jr. and the late Bernice, Frederick, Albert, and Lawrence. They have 18 grandchildren and eight gret-grandchildren.Mr Truschka worked as an engineer for the B 0 railroad for over 47 years, retiring five years ago Both the Truschka’s are life-long residents of Blue Island.
