Vermillion Men Victims Of Icy RoadsCAYUGA, Ind. (Special)—A violent two-car head-on collision eight miles north of here on SR 63 killed two persons Saturday pushing Indiana's 1970 traffic toll to nine.Dead are George Straughn, 27, Covington, and Wilbur Harrier, 56, Cayuga. Both men were dead at the scene, police say.Indiana State Troopers Mike Goldner and Paul Rayl placed the scene of the double fatality near the intersection of SR 63 and 1-74 north of Perrysville.Also at the scene were Sheriff Frank Turchi of Vermillion County and Nick Karanovidh, Vermillion County coroner.The mishap, which occurred shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday,' involved a stretch of highway | lying in the lowlands west of the Wabash River.
