His familv was in t the barber business in Doyles- | town for more than 80 years. ,r *He w as the son of Levi Nelson, who served as a tipstaff,1 in the Bucks County Courthouse for a number of years, I and Ameilia Stratton Nelson. 'He wa* a well-known sportsman, and one of the ouMandin# bowlers and championshipwinners in the Bucks - Montgomery area bowling leagues.He was born in the ancestral Nelson Home on East Oak land Ave near South Church St., which his family built.He is survived by a sister, i Mrs, LeRov Young. Philadelphia, and nieces and nephews.Funeral service* will beheld on Wodne«dav at 2 p.m at the Wilson G. Varcoe Funeral Home. 344 North Main St.. Doylestown. The viewing will be Tuesday, 7 to 9 p m. Burial wilj be in Doylestown Cemetery. The Rev. John Chisholm, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, will officiate.
