VERNON DICKERSON NO MURKThe people of Milan were much grieved to hear of the death of Vernon Dickerson which occurred at bis home in Evanston, Cincinnati, Sunday about noon from consumption, from which he has suffered for about eight months. *Vernon was well known in Ripley oeunty having been born and raised at Versailles where he was a valued em • ploye of the Versailles Republican for a number of years. Later be was foreman of the Journal at Osgood, finally becoming o part owner of the paper, but selling bis interest less than a year ago. He bad been employed by the Men and Women Publishing Co., in Cincinnati, the past year and a half and had become almost invaluable to his employers.Vernon was a man who made a friend I of everyone whom he met and his death is deeply meurned by ail He leaves a wife, a small son and an aged father, who have the sympathy of the entire! community.The body was brought here Monday afternoon and taken to the home of Mrs. Dickerson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Myers, south of town.
