“iMr. and Mrs. George L. Peaslee celebrated their 40th anniversary December 17, at open-house at the home of their son, Wendell. About 50 relatives and friends braved the weather to offer their good wishes to the couple. \A three - tiered anniversary cake, made by Mrs. Wendell Peas-w-, and topped with an ornament of flowers and bells, centered therefreshment table. Serving were Mrs. Adelaide Aldrich of Oxford, a niece; Mrs. Joan Ortiz and Mrs. Edith Parker, of Pharsalia. Decorations were red and white streamers and bells, and red and white carnations on the guestbook table. Mrs. Peaslee was pre-5 on ted a red and white carnation corsage, a gift of her children.George L. Peaslee and Miss Pazel Thompson, of Plymouth were married Christmas Eve, H21, by the Rev. J. B. Mrs. Peaslee is an active member of the Pharsalia WSCS.Mr. and Mrs. Peaslee were presented with many gifts, flowrers, cards and a sum of money. Guests were present from Cortland, Norwich, North Norwich, Oxford, Preston, South Otselic, Cincin-natus, and Brackle.
