Dejth of CluHes TreatThe residents of Haya were shocked to icara of the death of Charles Treat which occurred at the hospital in this J city Sunday, February 22, 1914,Mr. Treat and wile came here about1 a year a go from Denver, Colorado,where he had been a resident for overforty years, to help hia brother, M. J. R. Treat, look after hia business affairs, and he made many friends during hie short residence here.He was taken sick on Wedees-day and taken to the hospital Thursday; was operated on for strangula- I tio.i of the bowels an j died Sunday as stated above.Mr. Treat was born in Favettviiie,**. Y. and moved to Denver in 1870, was 73 years of age. His remains were taken to Denver for burial, accompanied by his wife, and daughter (who had arriv.d Monday.) An escort from the Masonic lodge of this city, consisting of Alex Philip and James Miiham, also accompanied the body. !
