-Mimic-Drexel Hosts Folksingers Clancy Bros., Louis KillenBy JEFF KRENZELPhiladelphia's reputation as a haven for folkand traditional music will receive a boost this Saturday night when the Clancy Brothers and Ixiuis Killen appear in concert at Drexel University’s Auditorium.I,lam, Pat and Tom Clancy are native Irishmen who produce a very polished version of traditional Irish music that is highly entertaining even if it strays from the traditional forms at times. Louis Killen is a different kind of singer, perhaps best known to those who frequent the Philadelphia Folk Festival. He performs as a soloist and his music is markedby its high degree of authenticity. Killen seems to be filling the gap created by the departure of the Brothers' former touring partner, Tommy Makem. Hopefully Killen won't be overwhelmed by the Clancy Brothers as his predecessor was.The Clancy Brothers' repertoire runs the gamut of Irish experience. They sing ballads of Irish whiskey, British colleens, sailing the Irish sea, and of the centuries-long struggle for Irish independence. With your bottle of Irish Mist you can start celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a couple weeks early this Saturday._y
