50th Anniversary♦Mr. and Mrs. EggersMr. and Mrs. Ervin Eggers To Celebrate Golden DateMr. and Mrs. Ervin Eggers of rural Colo will be honored at an open house on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary, to be held Sunday, Mar. 7 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural State Center, from 2 until 5 p.m.All friends and relatives ofthe couple are cordially invited to attend.Mr. Eggers and the former Marie Fricke were married on Mar. 4,1926 at St. John’s Lutheran parsonage. They have lived in the Colo-State Center area their entire married life.They are the parents of six children: Vernon of Zearing, Ramona Milleson of Colo, Merle of Ames, Reuben of Ankeny, and Glen and Elmer of rural State Center. They have 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
