City league bowlingbehind the scenesThe Kittinger Drywall foursome was leading the team event with 2,461 after the first Sunday of action in the Huron City Women’s Bowling Championships.Thirty-four teams have competed thus far in the tournament and in the money is2,313.Bea Fisher and Dee Junge-mann top the doubles competition with 1,269 and in the money was 1,168. A total of 48 sets have competed.Leona Hansen is leading the singles competition with 684 and 604 is in the money. Ninety-six entries have competed in the singles division.Luella Hansen has a 1,487 for tops in all-events scratch and Pam Norton leads the all-events handicap with 1,888.The competition in the tournament will continue next Sunday at both the Fair City Lanes and the Plains.Honor rollDon Engel rolled three high series last week, all over 600.
