A specialservice was given by Rev.Robert Landis, durin which the couple renew t heir vows.Mr and Mrs. Ward were married Feb. 11,1930, at the Centre Street Methodist Parsonage, by Rev. Ewald. Mr. Ward is the son of the late John and Olive Fortney Ward Mrs. W?ard, the former Sarah Twigg, is the daughter of the late Warren and Myrtle TwiggThe couple are theparents of one son, Austin J. Wrard Jr., Newark, Del , and a daughter, Virginia Eyler, LaVale. They have four grandchildren, Edward Eyler Jr., Suzanne Keith, and Debbie and Elaine Ward, and two great-grandsons.A traditional gold and white color scheme wascarried out in the cake, table and hall decorations Mrs Polly Eyler served the{unch and Mrs. Donna,umm served the cake. Refreshments were under the charge of Mrs. Betty Pittman and the Ruth Bible class Mrs. Marion Webster provided piano music for the affair.Mr and Mrs Ward are Past Matron ^nd Patron of the Cumberland Chapter 56. Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Ward is a retired millwright and machinist, past president of Universal Engineers, and a member of Ohr Lodge 131 He helped to organize, and is a life member of. the Has-Beens, being an ex-lightweight boxer.
