Library Expansion Is Now UnderwayIncreased space in New Mexico Stale University’s library, Dronson Hall, came closer to reality this year as the beginning of 1974 saw construction underway at that site, James Dykc library director, noted the addition to the library will make available some 33,700 square feet of floor space.The $2.3 million project includes construction of additions to three floors for extra book stacks.The lobhy of the present structure will be enclosed and refurnished to improve overall air conditioning. Dyke noted that a small vestibule will be constructed by adding a set of glass doors just inside the existing front doors.Mezzanines will be added on the second, third and fourth floors of the present lobby to provide reading lounges.Dyke said the 191 portion of the building is being renovated.
