Mr. and Mrs. Jean Smith Surprised On 25th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Jean Smith, Park Row, Flora, were honored Sunday evening at a surprise party in the home of their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Robeson of Rt. 1, Camden. The occasion was the celebration of the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Miss Arlene Smith, another daughter, who is a student at Purdue University, assisted her sister.Others present were Mrs. J. O. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Webb Miller and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Boiler and son, all of Flora; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Doran, sister of Mrs. Smith, and children, Indianapolis, and Miriam and Michelle Robeson. ISupper was served at a lace covered table centered with a cake decorated with white bells I and coral roses. It was flanked by I coral candles in crystal candelabra. The honored guests were the recipients of many lovely gifts. (Jean Smith, son of Jesse and Vera Smith, and Elaine Roll, daughter of Ralph Roll and Eva-1 due Roll Ball, were married on February 23, 1941, in the Flora Christian Church by Rev. V. Hayes Miller. They have lived their entire married life in Flora j where Mr. Smith is a partner in Smith Construction Company.
