Invitations for two hundred people had been issued and the Castle Hull was parked to overflowing by visitor* and memlers of the lodge. A very neat and interestingprogrmn hud leen arranged. Miss Stella McAfee opened the evening’* enjoyment, by reciting a very cleverpiece. George W, Julian was thenintroduced. George dwelt upon the lid Vance made by the order, it* growthand history. Not only in numbers but in wealth lirui it grown. \S idows and orphan* of deceased memlHT* were eared for with a broth -| erly affection Mr. Julian’a talk tm instructive and well received by the I audience. Mr. Julian was followed by Mis* Mabel Pollard who gave a very interesting recitation. Messrs, liar nett, Barnes, Julian and Gwinn contributed a plantation song which brought down Hi** house, Mis* Georgia Dtmlde und Miss JessieInglee also delivered pleasing nvi-tutiona.
