Amos Slaytons To Observe 50th Anniversaryi»■iuv•*Mr. and Mrs. Amos SlaytonMr. and Mrs. Amos Slayton of Brookston will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26th, at the Badger Grove Community Baptist Church.Louis Summers and Amos Slatyon were married Feb. 27, 1917, at the Methodist parsonage by the Rev. Frank L. Hovis. They have resided in White County ail of their lives.The couple has three children,Some Nice Family Carsa son, Russell of Rt. 10, Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Deckard and Mrs. Howard Ben* ker of Rt. 2, Brookston. They have nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. One of their granddaughters, Mrs. Jerry Trapp, lives in Delphi.All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.
