D.Pearce, 8860 W. 101st st., began collecting material for the historical sketch. Some of the background material was obtained from books/ she said, but much of the material was obtainedAfrom about 30 families who remembered early days in the community. ,The material was given to Mrs. Robert Burns, 9554 S. 89th ave., who in a few hours one morning she said, organized the material into a half-hour tableau.
