Mr. and Mrs. J. U. Blue celebrated their flfty-second wedding anniversary yesterday very quietly at their home in East Defiance. A large number of freinds remembered the aged couple in lt;a kindly manner by giving them a letter shower. Thiskindness was more than appreciatedby Mr. and Mrs. Blue, as both areshut, in arid Mr. Blue has been very sick for over a year, it was with great pleasure thist the good wishes and cordial remembrances were received and read.♦
