Bachmans Observe Golden AnniversaryMr. and Mrs, John Bachman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home on Sunday in Gifford. A family dinner was prepared at noon by Blanche Cox of Gifford and Mrs, Charles 'j Mitchell of Eldora, and was served ' j by two granddaughters, Doris Jean and Colleen Bachman.Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Bachman and Boris Jean of Union, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Bachman and Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bachman, Kay Ann and Colleen, Miss Charity Long and Mr. and Mrs. William Reisinger of Eldora; Mr. and Mrs. Marion Dickenson and Janice of Union; Mrs. Ruth Adamson and Gus Fistler and daughter of Iowa Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Aldo Bachman and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bachman of Eldora were unable to attend.Open house was held from 2 until 5 in the afternoon for the couple. They received many lovely gifts.
