County Attorney John E Craig was up Tuesday from Keokuk to present the Montrose ease before the court, but Judge Bank being too busy with the ease in hand postponed the hearingto Monday next on his own motion. Eighteen women of Mont-rose, through the sheriff, petition the county attorney for an injunction against Fred Barber and J. A. Petty two saloon keepers for a violation of the mulct law, and notified the attorney that unless he prosecute the case they will proceed against him according to law in such cases.
