August BlankesWill Mark 60thYear of WeddingA special event in the Blanke family of Dolton and Grant Park will be the celebration of the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. anlt;2 Mrs. August Blanke of Grant Park on Washington’s birthday, Feb. 22.The couple had 12 children, nine of whom are living. Four reside in Dolton, Mrs. Christine Born, Mrs. Rosa Groeling, Mrs. Alvina Volling and Henry Blanke. The other five are Mrs. Mathilda Spargler of Harvey; Mrs. Pauline Winkler of Hammond; Mrs. Ma-belle Morton, Mrs. Geanette Trumble and Louis Blanke of Mo-mence.The couple have 42 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. They have one son, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the service of their country.Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sellin of River dale afid Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pasilas of Dolton will celebrate their ninth and third wedding anniversaries. respectively, on the same date. Mrs. Sellin is the former Vera Bom and Mrs. Pasilas the former Juanita Groeling, granddaughters of the August Blankes.
