Aurora and Louis Carrillo JrAurora and Louis Carrillo Jr. in 1950Aurora and Louis Carrillo Jr.Aurora and Louis Carrillo Jr. of Sauk Village recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a gathering of their immediate family.The couple were married Feb. 18, 1950 at St. Lawrence Church in Chicago.Carrillo, a retired tool and die machinist, was employed at U.S. Gear Corp. in Chicago and Quality Tool and Die in Chicago. He served as a private first class in the U.S. Army.The former Aurora Carvajal is employed part-time at Roberts Colonial House in South Holland.The couple are members of St. Irenaeus Church in Park Forest.Children of the couple are Mary King of Richton Park, Louis III of Oak Lawn, Patricia of Chicago, Stacie Foster of Chicago Heights, Stan of Richton Park, Theresa Wzorek of Virginia and the late Margaret Carrillo. The couple also have 19 grandchildren.
