Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Wotton of 1142 Fourth Street recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the home of their son, Mr. Ralph Wotton, trimmed with yellow roses. Mrs. Wotton was with a gold orchid corsage. The couple was married by Rev. J. L. King in Glenboro and resided there until 1935 when they moved to Brandon. Mrs. Wotton is the former Florence Sharp. Those attending the celebra tion were two daughters, Miss Mable Wotton of Vancouver and Mrs. Nellie Davies of Brandon; Robert Davies, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Ralph Wotton and four grandchildren. A son, George, was killed in action in 1945.
