Mrs. Glen Smith returned thanks., | iMrs. Denton will be hostess on March 19.ii50th Anniversary Surprise SundayThe 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dwyer of Orient was observed Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dwyer of Creston. Their immediate family were present for dinner at noon. A surprise reception planned by the couple’s children was held from 2 to 4 p. m.Favors were given the guests on arrival. Cake, coffee, punch, nuts and mints were served during the afternoon. The anniversary cake was baked by Mrs. Helen Ford and beautifully decorated by Mrs. Doda Haines.The corsage and boutonniere worn by the honored couple yere gifts from their children who also presented their parents a gold colored pole lamp. The Dwyers received other lovelygifts, gifts of money, and con-1 gratulatory cards to commemor-; ate the occasion. cEarl Dwyer and Sylvia Pearson were married Feb. 19, 1913, at the home of his parents by Rev. Abram S. Woodard. They have four children, Mrs. Lynn (Vinice) Buckner of Redding, Mrs. Dean (Delviani Stuva of Fontanelle, Mrs. Wayne (Dolores) Webster of Des Moines, and Richard Dwyer of Creston.
