MRS, WM. LINDEMAN DEADHAD LIVED IN CASS COUNTY SINCE THE YEAR 1870Died jit an Early Hour this Morning at the Family Home in ThisCityAt about two o’clock this morning Mrs. Wm, Lindeman died at her home in this city, after ail illness of a few weeks. It was known for some time that she was dangerously ill, and her children had all been home to see hier. A few days ago she was thought to be a little betterbut she got worse again and her death occurred this morning as above stated.Her maiden name was Catherine Gerlach, and she was born in Germany, September 2, 1845. She came to the United States of America in May, 1865, and was married to Wm., Lindeman, who survives her, on September 2 2, 1867, at Hazleton, Pennsylvania, making that place their home until the fall of 1869, when they moved to Illinois. Thenext spring they came toCass countyand bought 80 acres in section 11 in Noble township, where they made their home until 1873, when they bought a farm of over two hundred acres in section 5 of the same township. Here they, lived until a few years ago, when they came to Atlantic to make their home, having lived here since that time.To Hr. and Mrs. Lindeman were born ten children, five sons and five daughters, all of whom are living. Th£y are George G. of Bear Grove township, Wm. H. of this city, Prof. Frank of Fontanelle, Joe of Bear Grove township, Gus of Platte, S. D., Mrs. Lucy Janss of this city, Mrs. Catherine Heckman of Anita, Mrs. Alice Neff of this city, Mrs. Mary iMueller of Easton, Maryland, and Miss Tillie, who is still at home.Deceased leaves one sister, Mrs. Miachel, whose home is in Illinois, and three brothers, George Gerlach of Lyman, Wm. Gerlach of Hazel-ton,’ Pa., and Lewis Gerlach o„f Se-••attle, Washington,Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. G. F. Braun, and interment will be made in Atlantic cemetery.
