Patrick Moran (5,377) and Roger Nelson.Man beaten, truck stolenPleasant Prairie police are looking for two Illinois men who beat up a Waukegan, 111. man and stole his pick-up truck in Pleasant Prairie early Wednesday.Pleasant Prairie Police Chief James Horvath this morning said warrants are being sought against a 19-year Park City, 111. man and a 20-year-old Zion, 111. man on charges of causing injury by conduct regardless of life androbbery.The victim, a 26-year-old man, was reported in fair condition at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, where he was taken after receiving initial treatment of head, hand and internal injuries at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.Horvath said he understands the man has broken ribs and a ruptured spleen, among other injuries.Pleasant Prairie police said the man was found lying on the ground on 88th Avenue at County Highway T by a passing motorist at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.The victim told police he was in a restaurant in Waukegan lateTuesday when the Zion man, whom he only knew by his first name of Jim, came in and asked the victim to buy him coffee. A little while later the Park City man came into the restaurant and he and Jim asked the Waukegan man to give them a lift to work.The two suspects directed the jvictim over a number of rural Lake County roads before having him stop in Pleasant Prairie. IThere the two men pushed the -man out of his truck, beat him, took money from his shirt, pulled his shirt over his head and beat phim some more, took his wallet rcontaining $40, pushed him out of his truck and drove off.
