Mark 50th Anniversary ... jBridgeport—Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Yates,,homesteaders of Nebraska, , celebrated' on Tuesday, February 4. , the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage, with a family gathering here in the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Odaville Yates.Mr. and Mrs. Yates were united in marriage on February 4, 1891, inRavenna, Nebr. Mrs. Yates, before !\er marriage, was Eba Beyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beyer. Her father, one of the leading business men in Sweetwater, Nebr., at that time, owned a general merchandise store in which Mi*. Yates was emploved at the time of their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Yates resided in several towns in central Nebraska, until the year 19C8, when they settled on a homestead near Broadwater. Twenty years ago they retired from active ■farm life and later moved to Bridgeport where they have made their hfome for the past eight years.
