Doyal J. Bennetts CelebrateGolden Wedding Anniversary In Quiet Manner February 4th_ .Mr, and Mrs. Doyal J.-Bennett ......—.....of Route 2, Jackson, celebrated their Golden. Wedding Anniversary on Friday, February 4th, in a quiet manner with many gifts, cards, phone calls including messages of congratulations received.Because of the flu epidemic no formal celebration was planned.Mr. Bennett and Rliby Gunn, both natives of Butts County, were married February 4th, 1922 by Judge Ham at his home on Mulberry Street in Jackson.The Bennetts have three children, Doyal L. Bennett of Mil-ledgeville, Ga., Mrs. Eugene Harris and Charles E. Bennett, both of Jackson. They have 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Their daughter, Mrs. Harris, surprised them with a fish supper Friday night.
