Kosowan is also back home after five weeks stay at the Vita Hospital. She spent the past week with her children in Winnipeg.Mrs Margaret Onysko who underwent surgery recently, is now recuperating at the home of her daughter (Mary), Mr and Mrs Bill Braid in Winnipeg.Saturday visitors at our home were Tony and Lil Atamanchuk. They were on their way back from visiting her mother Mrs Domka Kowaliuk at the Vita Personal Care Home. They also visited her brothers Mr and Mrs George Kowaliuk and Mr and Mrs Steve Kowaliuk at Tolstoi.Saturday, Feb. 5, Father Wasyliw blessed the homes of his parishioners of the Gardenton St. Michaels church.Mr and Mrs W. Boychuk, Karen and Robert visited with her parents Mr and Mrs John Krishka, Mike and Alex. Doris gave her mother a helping hand with the household chores since her mother was quite ill with a bout of flu for the past three weeks.Mr and Mrs Louie Kulyk and family of Winnipeg spent the weekend with his mother Mrs Mary Kulyk.Heartiest congratulations and best wishes are extended to Mr and Mrs Lukian Bially, residents at the Vita Personal Care Home who celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary Sun.. Feb. 13. May God bless you with many more years of health and happiness.Mr and Mrs Tony AtamanchukMr and Mrs Tony Atamanchuk on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary which they celebrated October 23/76 at the Polish Legion 1335 Main St. where a reception was held in their honour.Seated at the head table which was beautifully decorated for this occasion were the honoured couple Mr and Mrs Atamanchuk with their two original attendants, Matron of honour — Mrs Kathy Kerr (nee Mehyden) and usher Joseph Kachur. Also present were their three children, Dennis, Patand James. M.C. for the evening was their nephew Johnny Kowaliuk of Winnipeg on behalf of the guests they were presented with a three piece luggage set, as well as many other beautiful and useful gifts and a sum of money. Gift from their children was two week holiday fn Sunny Hawaii, where they had an enjoyable holiday.They were married in Winnipeg Nov. 3, 1951 at the St. Michaels Ukrainian Greek Orthodox church. They were blessed with two sons Dennis and James and one daughter Pat, all at home. MrsAtamanchuk (nee Lillian Kowaliuk) is formerly of Arbakka and later of Gardenton and Tonyhails from Dauphin.A bountiful supper was served and dancing to the Fun Lighters Orchestra concluded the evening.Out of town guests attending were (brother) Mr and Mrs Bill Kowaliuk of St. Catharines Ontario, nieces, Alice and Jerry Chany and children, Kevin and Dawn of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Lil and Tommy Kelunick, Belinda and Rodney of Sandy Lake,brothers Mr and Mrs George Kowaliuk and Mr and Mrs Steve Kowaliuk ol Tolstoi and Peter of Winnipeg and Mr and Mrs Miron Atamanchuk of Brandon, also Mr and Mrs Mike Kelunick of Sandy Lake and many other relatives andfriends.An enjoyable evening was spent by all and'this was a memorable clay for the honoured couple Lillian and Tony.
