He was 63.Mr, Marshall was Sunday School Superintendent of the First Baptistchurch for many years, and was also an active member ol GarfieldLodge No. 559 and had attained the rar.k of 32nd Degree Mason.He retired from his insuranceagent’s position in 1947.He was born in Hnthmel on Aug. 29, 1892, son of John and JuliaMiles Marshall. He came to DuBoiswith his bride, itie former Gladys Dean, a short time after their marriage 51 years agoBesides his wife, he leaves three sons. Robert E., of WashingtonD. C.. Fred J . of New Jersey, John F., of DuBois; lour daughters, Mrs. Harry L. Himes, of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Howard Bench,of Titusville, Mrs. Lee Timlin and Mrs. Julia Mohney, of DuBois.Twelve grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survives as dotwo sisters, Mrs Frank Schick, of Mayport, and Mrs. Albert Farnsworth, of Roanoke, Va., and a brother. Paul, oi Mayport. A son and a daughter preceeded him indeath.Friends will be received at theShort funeral home alter 7 o'clock tonight.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 pm. from the funeral heme.
