OBSERVES 50TH ANNIVERSARYMr. and Mrs. George Yenter Home Scene of Happy Gathering SundayEventful indeed was the happy gathering at the George Yenter home Sunday when relatives and friends came to help Mr. and Mrs. George Yenter celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.A sumptuous two-course turkey 1 dinner was served at noon. The table was appropriately decorated with gold colored flowers, and a golden bell adorned the center of the table.The bride's cake, made by Mrs. Murry Yenter was embelished by a miniature bride and groom. The groom’s cake was made by, Mrs. Rose Reeve. . *After the dinner a program was given by various pupils of the Oxford high school. The orchestra fui*ni»hed several numbers. Readings were given by loan Yenter and Margaret Schrader. Emory Windrem contributed a saxaphone solo, and Thelma Taylor and Eleanor Sponar gave violin solos accompanied by Vilda Sponar on the piano.All of the children of Mr. and Mrs. George Yenter were present for the occasion.Those present included Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Platt, Wheaten, 111., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Yenter and family of Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Reeves and son, George Mr., and Mrs. Wm.
