Observe 50th Wedding AnniversaryMr. and Mr*. Edgar NielsenMr and Mrs Edgar Nielsen of Hyrum are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today. They were married February 14 1912. in the Logan LDS Temple Mr. Nielsen was born October 19. 1887 to Bendt and Sarah Jane Stanley Nielsen in Hyrum. He has been an active member of the IJ)S Hyrum Second Ward all of his life. For a number of years he was Sunday School superintendent. He lias worked on the genealogical committee and as a ward teacher. He is a High priest. He is a past president and director ofthe Hyrum Irrigation Co., president and secretary of the South Cache Livestock Association Mrs Nielsen, the former De-lorma Monsen, was born April 29. 1889. in Hyrum. a daughter of Henry H. and Anna Eliason Monsen She too has been a member of the Hyrum Second Ward all of her life and has worked as president, counselor. teacher in the Primary and for 16 years was a member of the Primary Stake Board. For over 50 years she has sung with the choir. She has worked as counselor in MIA and as a Relief Society visiting teacher. SheI served as secretary of the, Farm Bureau and was captain 1 of the Sego Uly Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers Their children are Mrs. Lloyd (ArleneI I.arsen. Hyrum; Grant E Nielsen. Bountiful; Clark W Nielsen. Hyrum; Mrs. Doyle (Jean• Read, Trenton;) l*e B. Nielsen. Orange, California; Mrs. Charles (Venice) Barr, Independence. Missouri; Don D Nielsen. Salt Lake City; Paul H Nielsen. Hvrum; Mrs. j Eugene (Maxine t Larsen. Hy-nim. and Jerry D. Nielsen. Mesa. Arizona; they have I grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren
