t Wednesday, February 6th, was an event of great bappiness to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Clinton, it being their golden wedding anniversary. • Their many relatives were invited and a splendid dinner was partaken of. Among the valuable presents received were a gold watch chain, gold spectacles and a gold-headed cane and gold tooth-pick, for Mr. Clinton; and a gold pitcher, a cup and saucer, thimble and gold spectacles for Mrs. Clinton. Mr. Clinton is about seventy-four and Mrs. Clinton seventy-two years of age, and they are in good health at present, looking as though they might live to enjoy many more wedding anniversaries. We wish them well in their declining years.
