Mr. and Mrs: Raymond Jeffery MARRIED 50 YEARS —• Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jeffery, Route 1, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary Feb. 18. Open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and all friends and relatives are invited to attend. Besse Sorenson and Raymond Jeffery were married Feb. 18, 1924, at Marysville, Kan. They came to Neosho in 1932 from Craborchard, Neb. Mr. Jeffery was a custom butcher for many years. He retired in 1971. The couple has five sons, Wendell and Marvin, both of Philadelphia, Pa., Kenneth and Jack, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Billy Wayne, Neosho; two daughters, Twyla Milburn, Arlington, Tex., and Ruby Haddon, Chicago, 111.; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
